I’m based in Cape Town, South Africa, where I’m lucky to call a peaceful, tranquil corner of the world my home — a place so serene, it often makes leaving hard. And yet, I absolutely love to travel. The call of the open road, new landscapes, and unfamiliar light always draws me out again.

My first love in photography has always been fine art nude studies — a genre that’s both profoundly rewarding and deeply challenging. It’s a space where vulnerability meets strength, where middle-aged bodies are celebrated not for perfection, but for the sensuality and quiet confidence they carry. I paused this work in 2020, as Covid hit.

Wildlife and landscape photography have long been a vital part of my creative journey. The untamed beauty of Southern Africa has always captivated me — its vast, shifting light and raw, natural drama offer endless inspiration. Whether I’m deep in the bush or watching the coastline change with the seasons, I’m continually drawn to the quiet power of these wild spaces.

I’m a regular, down-to-earth person with an endlessly active imagination — always dreaming, always seeing stories in the spaces around me. My heart has found a second home in the Kalahari. Once the red sand settles into your shoes, it weaves its way into your soul. It never truly leaves you — and honestly, you never want it to.

Teaching is another passion of mine — I offer one-on-one sessions in photography and Adobe Photoshop. Watching my students gain confidence and pride in their own creative work brings me a deep sense of fulfilment.

It’s this deep love for the wild, open spaces of Southern Africa that fuels my passion for overlanding. With my custom-built Prado camper, I’m free to chase light, silence, and solitude — to go off-grid and immerse myself in the landscapes that inspire my work. Photography and travel go hand in hand for me: both are about discovery, patience, and finding unexpected beauty in the in-between
